Roger joined SMBC Aero Engine Lease ("SAEL") in February 2020 as Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to joining SAEL Roger was Head of Commercial at GECAS Engine Leasing. He has worked 25 years in the engine leasing industry holding a number of executive positions at GECAS and SES. Roger started his career at Safran and worked for CFM International. Roger holds a MSc in Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA. Roger was also a member of the Executive Training Program in Japan in 1992 - 1993.
